About Us
Twenty-four years ago, families and parents in the Seward community recognized the lack of support for grieving parents. The Heartfelt mission is to provide a circle of support and hope as we remember and celebrate the lives of our children.

Our Story
After tragic loss, grieving parents of Seward realized the lack of support for parents, like themselves, who had suffered the death of their child. Finding themselves adrift in a time of unimaginable loss, adjusting to life without their child, was emotionally overwhelming. With few avenues to turn to, they decided to band together and create their own support. Heartfelt Connections Grief Support was established in 2002.
Ten years later and a dream to create a place where children would be remembered and honored as they left this Earth too soon began to take form. Humble beginnings gave way to greater opportunities through generous donations and fundraisers. In the Spring of 2015, The Heartfelt Children’s Memorial was dedicated. Today, children from across the world are honored and remembered with loving inscriptions in a place of beauty, peace, and love.
As it has been since the beginning, Heartfelt Connections and the Heartfelt Children’s Memorial are maintained by loving parents, friends, and a Board of Directors.
Our Vision
Through our Heartfelt community of support, For Healing resources, and the Children's Memorial, we envision hurting hearts feeling a little lighter in the Seward area and beyond.

Ways To Give
People City Mission Donation Boxes
Located at 215 N 6th Street in Seward, this donation project benefits people in need as well as Heartfelt. These boxes are owned by Heartfelt and are the only Donation Boxes that directly donate to Heartfelt's mission. Other People City Mission donation boxes around town do not benefit Heartfelt.
We gratefully accept all gently used clothing items, shoes, purses, and belts. Bedding, towels, curtains and other fabric items. We are unable to accept household items, such as furniture or electronics.

Fully conducted by volunteers, Heartfelt receives a per-pound stipend for maintaining the boxes, delivery (or personal drop-off) of items to the PCM's Drop Center. Click here for a receipt of your donation. We ask that you please place items in strong plastic bags.
Alternatively, you may personally drop items off at the North side of the People's City Mission's Help Center at 6800 P St, Lincoln, NE 68510 and ask that they be weighed for Heartfelt Inc. You will be given a receipt for your donation. Donation hours are Monday - Saturday 8 am - 6 pm and Sunday Noon - 5 pm.
